Quantitative electroencephalogram

Let’s start with your assessment now.

qEEG - a valuable tool for investigating brain activity

The quantitative electroencephalogram (qEEG) is an advanced method of EEG analysis based on the computer-assisted decomposition of brain activity into its individual frequencies. This technique enables a precise graphical representation of brain activity and is often referred to as brain mapping.

The qEEG is primarily used to diagnose and evaluate brain function. It offers valuable insights into the activity patterns of the brain and can provide indications of neurological or psychiatric disorders. Examples include attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, epilepsy or other changes in brain function. By analyzing the frequency patterns, deviations can be identified and specific treatment approaches can be supported.

The qEEG method is regarded as an optimal supplement to conventional diagnostic procedures and is therefore frequently used in neurology, psychiatry and neurofeedback therapy. However, it requires careful measurement technology and interpretation by trained specialists. And this is precisely why we prefer to carry out our qEEGs ourselves.
