Neurofeedback therapy
Neurofeedback Therapy – Brain Training for Better Self-Regulation
The brain is capable of learning—throughout a person’s entire life. This is exactly where neurofeedback therapy comes in. With the help of modern EEG technology, the brain receives direct feedback on its own activity and learns, step by step, to regulate itself more effectively.
Neurofeedback is a scientifically validated, non-invasive training method that can be used to address issues such as concentration problems, ADHD, stress, anxiety, and sleep disorders, as well as to improve mental performance. The training is tailored to your individual brain activity and is guided by our neurofeedback experts.
At Neuroflex, every therapy session begins with a thorough analysis of your brain activity. Based on this analysis, we develop a personalized training program tailored to your goals and needs.

What is neurofeedback therapy?
Neurofeedback therapy is a specialized form of biofeedback in which the brain’s electrical activity is measured using electroencephalography (EEG). During training, the brain receives real-time feedback on its activity—for example, through images, animations, or videos.
What makes this special is that the brain learns on its own to generate beneficial activity patterns more frequently and less helpful patterns less frequently. This learning process is based on the principles of neuroplasticity and operant conditioning.
Unlike drug-based treatments, neurofeedback does not interfere with the body’s metabolism. Instead, it harnesses the brain’s natural ability to adapt and develop new regulatory strategies.
The treatment is painless, noninvasive, and suitable for both children and adults.
When does neurofeedback help?
Neurofeedback is used to help with concentration problems, ADHD, stress, anxiety disorders, sleep problems and migraines. The training is based on EEG measurements and aims to improve the brain’s self-regulation.
We use neurofeedback to support attention, emotion regulation and cognitive performance, particularly for ADHD and stress-related complaints, based on current studies.

Does neurofeedback help with ADHD / ASD?
Neurofeedback is often used to support ADHD, particularly in cases of difficulties with attention, impulse regulation and inner restlessness. The prerequisite is an individual neurophysiological assessment, for example using qEEG, in order to identify relevant patterns of brain activity.
Neurofeedback can be used as a supplement in autism spectrum disorders to support self-regulation, stimulus processing and emotional stability.

Does neurofeedback help with stress/anxiety?
Neurofeedback can be used to help with chronic stress, inner tension and anxiety disorders. The aim is to improve the regulation of arousal states in the brain and promote more stable stress management.
Based on a neurophysiological analysis, the training can be individually adapted to reduce overactive stress patterns and strengthen emotional balance.

Does neurofeedback help with depression / burnout?
Neurofeedback can also be used to treat depressive symptoms, states of exhaustion and burnout. The focus is on supporting activation, motivation and emotional stability through targeted training of brain regulation.
Individual diagnostics help to identify relevant activity patterns and adapt training accordingly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is neurofeedback painful?
No. The sensors measure only brain activity. No electrical current is emitted.
How long does a session last?
Depending on the training plan, a session usually lasts between 30 and 60 minutes.
When will the first changes become apparent?
It varies from person to person. Some people report changes after just a few sessions, while others need more time.
Is neurofeedback suitable for children?
Yes. Neurofeedback is often used with children and adolescents and can be tailored to their age group.
Do I need medication?
No. Neurofeedback is a non-pharmacological training method.
Can neurofeedback replace other therapies?
Whether neurofeedback is used on its own or as a complementary treatment depends on the individual situation. We’ll discuss this together during the initial consultation.
Why is a qEEG performed before therapy?
The qEEG provides objective information about your brain activity and enables the creation of a personalized training plan.
